Forwarding emails past gateway serverrs

mtpcomedy Question:
If I send an email to a gateway server and this gateway server accepts the email - why can i not just redirect a copy of it to 100,000 other people through the same server - is this possible as long as i retain the same ID, Datestamp, IP?
